Attending a Meeting

Delegations

If you would like to speak to council at a meeting, please notify the Clerk. Requests to speak to council must be received by 4:30 PM the Wednesday prior to the Monday night council meeting to be included on the agenda. Requests to speak to council received after that cut off time, will be included on the next agenda, unless otherwise authorized by council. All requests to speak to council must include a written summary of the issue to be discussed

Correspondence

If you have an idea or an issue that requires the attention of council, please direct any written correspondence to the Clerk. Correspondence received the Wednesday prior to the Monday night council meeing will be included on the agenda. Correspondance received after that cut off time, will be included on the next agenda, unless otherwise authorized by council.

Council Meetings

Council meetings are held every second and fourth Monday of each month except for the months of July, August and December. If a meeting date falls on a statutory holiday, the meeting shall be held on the Wednesday of the same week.          


Meetings start at 7 pm at the Municipal Office.       


The conduct of meetings, include where and when they are held, notice of regular and special meetings, the rules of debate and the process for delegations, follow the Procedural By-law.
